"It is not what you say, it is the way you say it"

Language is as individual as it is complex. Translation and interpretation depends on the subtleties of the language as well as the non-verbal content. Not only do I translate the words very accurately, I also "tune in" with the person who is speaking. Empathy as well as intellectual understanding characterise my translations. I often get the feedback that I also translate the melody, volume, gestures and facial expressions of the speaker. This ensures that the flow of the speaker is maintained and the translation blends into the lesson unobtrusively.

I translate in the following professional fields:

● Body Therapy - especially Shiatsu, Shin Tai, Craniosacral Therapy, Rebalancing
● Process work - especially Breathing Therapy, Systemic Constellation Work
● Movement - especially Dance, Yoga, Qi Gong
● Basic medical knowledge - Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology
● Psychology - Coaching, Therapeutic Conversation, Communication

Thanks to my knowledge and experience in the therapeutic field, I can quickly and precisely grasp the content and i have the anatomical and emotional vocabulary needed in this area.

I prefer to interprete simultaneously because like that I can let the words flow through me. There is almost something meditative about it. It needs clear presence and concentration, but no effort. The ease that I convey because of this is often appreciated and perceived as pleasant.

However, I have also learned to translate consecutively (sentence by sentence or section by section) in front of larger groups, as well as at congresses - even though I still sometimes like to hide behind a palm tree then (see picture).
